The implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in your organisation will very much depend on the level of your requirements. We will work with you at the beginning of the project to map out the implementation and provide you with an estimate of time. It can be within a matter of weeks, though will be dependent on the time you can commit as a business to the implementation and how easily it is to transfer your data.

Tecvia have developed two approaches for the implementation process.

Approach 1 –with this option Tecvia will be with you every step of the way from start to finish. We use a configuration tracker to identify and monitor each stage of the process. This enables us to manage the implementation from importing the data to the set up. Our team will provide training for you to test the solution and then plan for the going live stage. This option is well suited for those businesses that are new to ERP and bespoke solutions.

Approach 2 – here we start with documenting the solution and produce a Functional Requirements Document which essentially is the blueprint for building the system. Once this plan has been approved, we revert to the stages in Approach 1

You will be provided with a set of Excel templates with guidance on completion. The key is that the data should be as clean as possible before transfer to ensure a quick and easy transfer.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central can be hosted in the cloud on the Microsoft platform, or can be installed onto an on-premise server. It is also possible to adopt a hybrid approach.

Licensing for an on-premise installation is different, so if this is of interest, please contact us to discuss by clicking here.
