Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Support Service

Tecvia's Dynamics 365 Business Central Support - Maximising Efficiency,  Minimising Downtime

Business Central Support from a UK Microsoft Partner

Most businesses do not go looking for a new support partner because things are going well. It is usually slow responses, being charged for every ticket, or customisations that break the moment Microsoft ships a wave update.

Tecvia offers one support service rather than tiers. Every customer gets the same thing: a UK team on phone and email from 8am to 6pm, unlimited break fix on a fixed monthly cost, and a monthly review of your developments so they stay compliant through each release.

We also take on systems we did not build. If your Business Central was implemented by someone else, we review how it has been set up, document what we find, and pick it up from there. There is more detail on how that works on our partner transfer page.

Support is priced per user, so what you pay tracks the size of your team rather than how often you need to call us.

Why Tecvia?

Tecvia supports Dynamics 365 Business Central for manufacturers and distributors across the UK, with more than 70 years of combined experience in the team.

One service, not tiers

There are no Basic, Advanced or Managed tiers to choose between. Every customer gets the full service, priced per user, so what you pay reflects your team size and not how much you need us.

Unlimited break fix

We do not charge by ticket or by the hour for break fix. Business-critical faults and basic questions are both covered by the same fixed monthly cost, so nobody on your team hesitates before logging an issue.

Wave updates handled for you

Microsoft ships two major waves a year. Our development team reviews your customisations every month against what is coming, updates anything that has fallen out of step and tests it, so upgrades do not break what you rely on.

Training when you need it

Short sessions on the thing you actually need, not a course you have to schedule around. Ten to fifteen minutes on a specific process is included in support rather than quoted as a change request.

We take on other partners' systems

You do not need to have been a Tecvia implementation. We take on Business Central systems built by other partners, review how yours has been set up and document what we find before we pick it up.

What Business Central Support Includes

Every customer gets all of it. There is nothing below to upgrade to.

8am to 6pm, UK based

Cover runs 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, from our team in Manchester. No offshore first line and no overnight handover to someone who has not seen your system before.

Phone and email, straight to the team

Log an issue by phone or email and it goes straight to the UK team, not a portal queue or an offshore first line. Your direct support contacts are set up during onboarding.

One hour first response on business-critical issues

Our target for a business-critical issue is a first response within one hour. Tickets are prioritised by business impact rather than the order they arrived in, so a stopped production line is not sitting behind a formatting question. We share our full Service Level Agreement on request, before you commit to anything.

Help with setup and quick questions

Setting up a new user, a new location, a report you have not run before. Short how-do-I questions are part of support, not the start of a change request conversation.

Annual review of your system

Once a year we sit down and look at how you are actually using Business Central: what is working, what people are still doing in spreadsheets, and what is worth changing next. Included in support, not billed separately.

Switching Business Central Partner

Moving partner sounds disruptive. In practice it runs in two phases, with an optional third.

Phase 1, Discovery. Workshops with your team to understand how you actually use Business Central, plus a review of every extension and custom development. The result is a written record of your system exactly as it works today. Where your existing partner wants to be involved, we welcome it.

Phase 2, Support Handover. We walk through that record with you, confirm it is accurate, then move you into Tecvia support having briefed our team on your contacts, processes and priorities.

Phase 3, optional. Anything Discovery flagged as worth improving gets scoped, estimated and scheduled separately, so it never holds up the handover.

Business Central Support: Your Questions Answered

The questions we are asked most often by businesses looking to move their Business Central support.

One service covering everything: issue resolution, proactive monitoring and maintenance, user training, configuration and custom development support, and business continuity. There is no tiered version of it, so every customer gets the same thing.

No. We offer one support service rather than tiered packages, so every customer gets the full offering. That includes unlimited break fix, maintenance of developments for Microsoft wave updates, and an annual review.

Support is priced per user. Contact us for a quote based on your number of users.

Our target for a business-critical issue is a first response within one hour, during support hours of 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Tickets are prioritised by business impact rather than the order they arrived in. Non-critical issues are addressed according to their priority and effect on your operations. We share a copy of our Service Level Agreement on request.

Microsoft ships two major releases a year. Each month our development team reviews your extensions and custom developments against what is coming, updates anything that is no longer compliant and tests it. That way an upgrade does not break the parts of the system you rely on. It is included from day one rather than billed as a project.

Yes. Configuration changes and smaller development work are covered by support within fair use. Anything more substantial is treated as a Change Request, scoped and estimated separately so you can decide before any work starts.

Short sessions, typically ten to fifteen minutes on a specific task or process, are part of support. Structured training for a group or a new team is treated as a Change Request and estimated separately.

On the cloud version, Microsoft handles backups and platform security directly. We make sure your user permissions are set up appropriately on top of that.

If you are running Business Central on premise, we review your current setup and agree a backup and security approach with you. We can advise on it or take it on, whichever suits.

Existing customers raise tickets by phone or email using the contacts set up during onboarding, 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

If you are not a customer yet and want to talk about moving your support to Tecvia, get in touch here.

We take on Business Central systems implemented by other partners. Discovery workshops and a review of your extensions come first, so we understand the system before we support it. There is more detail on our partner transfer page.

Anything not covered here, ask us directly. We will give you a straight answer before you commit to anything.
