We implement and support Business Central for manufacturers and distributors. Based in Manchester, working with businesses across the UK and internationally.
Trusted by UK manufacturers and distributors

We focus on Business Central for manufacturers and distributors. That means you are not explaining your business from scratch. Between us there is more than 70 years of Business Central experience, and we have seen enough poor implementations to know what to avoid.
Stock across multiple locations and bins. Planning that suggests orders you can trust rather than ones you override. Bills of materials and routings built around how your shop floor actually runs. Lot and serial tracking that holds up after stock has been part-received, transferred and reworked. Landed costs that show up in your margin instead of getting lost.
We look at how you run today, then tell you what Business Central would and would not change.
The person who scopes your project has implemented Business Central themselves. What you are quoted reflects what the work actually takes, not what a sales target says it should.
From there it goes to the team who will build it. They are not strangers picking up a document, they are in the detail from the start, and they stay with you through go-live and into support. You are never explaining your business twice.
Tecvia is privately owned and based in Manchester. No parent group, no investors, no quarterly targets set by someone who will never meet you.
If something needs sorting, you are already talking to the people who can sort it. Decisions get made in the conversation, not passed up a chain and back down again.
Tell us how your operation runs today and we will show you what Business Central would look like for it, with a straight answer on cost and timescale.
Microsoft does not implement Business Central. It is sold and delivered through its partner network, which means the partner you choose has more effect on the result than the software does.
A partner handles licensing, configuration, moving your data across, connecting the systems you keep, training your users, taking you live, and supporting you afterwards.
If you are still working out whether Business Central fits, start with our Business Central overview. This page is about who delivers it.
Every project starts with an IDEA: Inspect, Design, Empower, Activate. See how a Business Central implementation works in detail.
We learn how you run today, agree the solution and get it signed off, so the shape of the project is settled before any work starts.
We design and build the system around what was agreed, documenting the decisions as we go.
Your team trains on the system and tests it against real scenarios from your own business.
Go-live, your first month end, then a planned handover into support.
We deliver Business Central across five sectors, each with its own configuration and its own set of problems.
Plan production, track jobs, and see true cost per unit, without leaving the system.

Tecvia holds the Microsoft Solutions Partner designation for AI Business Solutions. Copilot comes with Business Central online at no extra licence cost. We set it up, train your team and show them where it saves time.
Copilot suggests sales lines from a short description or past orders. Your team builds quotes and orders in fewer clicks.
Copilot matches bank transactions to open entries and proposes the postings. Your finance team reviews and confirms instead of matching line by line.
Chat with Copilot answers questions about your data and shows staff how to complete tasks. People find what they need without waiting for a report.
Read what Business Central’s built-in AI actually does, or see our Copilot services.
Most partners sell support in tiers, then charge you to move up one. We sell one service, priced per user, and everyone gets the same thing.
Business critical issues get a first response within an hour. Changes that take under an hour are absorbed under support rather than quoted, so you are not raising a purchase order to change a report layout. Anything larger is quoted as project work, and you see the estimate before it starts.
Business Central is licensed per user per month, across Essentials, Premium and Team Member. What you spend beyond the licence depends on how much configuration, data migration and integration your business needs.
We publish current UK prices and what sits on top of them.
Most businesses come to us when their current system can no longer keep up. We move your data, rebuild your key processes and train your team on Business Central.
Sage 50 and Sage 200 users often outgrow separate modules and add-ons. Compare the two in our guide to Business Central vs Sage 200.
Accounting packages struggle once you add stock, manufacturing or more sites. Read about moving from Xero or the signs you've outgrown QuickBooks.
Spreadsheet-based planning breaks down as order volumes grow. See why spreadsheet MRP holds manufacturers back.
NAV 2017 extended support ends on 11 January 2027. See how a NAV to Business Central migration works.
You do not have to stay with the partner who implemented your system. If support is slow, if the people who knew your setup have moved on, or if you are paying for a tier you do not use, you can move.
Your Business Central tenant is yours. Changing partner is a change of who supports and develops it, not a rebuild.
Tell us what you pay now and what it covers, and we will show you how ours compares. How switching works.
Tecvia is a small Manchester team of Business Central specialists. The consultants who scope your project also build it, train your people and support you after go-live.

Microsoft scores that designation on a hundred-point scale across three areas: new customers won, the number of certified people on the team, and whether the customers we deliver to actually keep using and expanding the system. You need seventy points to hold it.
It is also re-measured continuously rather than awarded once, so it reflects how we are working now, not how we were working when we first earned it.
Where Business Central stops, we work with the specialists rather than building something custom you would be stuck maintaining. Continia for document capture and e-invoicing. Tasklet for warehouse scanning on the floor. Yaveon for process manufacturing and the extra control that comes with it.
When something genuinely does need building, we build it. Our product arm, Bee Solved, develops connectors and extensions for Business Central, so the code is written and supported by the same people who know your system.
Start with sector experience. A partner who has delivered in your industry makes better configuration decisions and spots problems earlier, because they have hit them before. After that, look at who actually does the work once you have signed, how support is priced, and whether they will put you in touch with a customer like you.
Who will be on my project, and will they still be on it after go-live? What is not included in this quote? How is support priced, and what counts as a chargeable change? Can I speak to a customer in my sector?
It depends on how many users you have, how much data is coming across, and how many systems need connecting. You get a timeline at the end of Inspect, before anything is built, rather than an estimate at the start that moves later.
Yes. Your Business Central tenant belongs to you. Changing partner changes who supports and develops it, not the system itself.
That is where our work is concentrated and where we are strongest. If your business sits outside that, we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit rather than take the project regardless.
